Soybean oil is a kind of vegetable oil extracted from soybean seeds.It is one of the main edible oils for people and also the second most consumed vegetable oil in the world. As the oil content of soybean is not high compared with that of peanut, sunflower seed and other raw materials, it is about 20%.And the pressing process has a higher residual oil rate compared to the solvent extraction process.Therefore, if the processing capacity is lower than 20TPD, the pressing process can be considered to produce soybean oil.
Soybean oil
For the pressing of soybean oil, the screw oil making machine is used as the pressing equipment to extract soybean oil from soybeans through the pressure between the screw and the barrel. All of our screw oil making machine uses a combination of circular and strip rows in the pressing ring section, which can increase the pressing pressure and produce more oil, and also extend the service life of the soybean oil making machine.
For soybean oil making machine, we mainly divide them into three types. One is a conventional oil making machine, which only has a pressing function.One type is an automatic temperature controlled oil making machine, which can directly adjust the temperature of the pressing process through the press.The third type is an automatic temperature control combination oil making machine. In addition to controlling the processing temperature during the pressing process, it is also equipped with vacuum filtration equipment, allowing the pressed oil to be directly filtered, resulting in a cleaner crude oil.

For the oil yield, first of all, the conventional oil making machine, whose oil yield can reach about 94%. For example, one ton of soybean contains about 200kg of soybean oil. After being pressed by the oil making machine, about 188kg of soybean oil can be obtained. Usually, based on our experience, adjusting the raw material temperature can increase the oil yield. Therefore, an automatic temperature controlled oil making machine can increase the oil yield by an additional 10% by controlling the processing temperature.For example, if the automatic temperature control oil making machine is used to press oil, about 190kg of soybean oil can be obtained after 1 ton of soybean is pressed.

Affected by the processing temperature, the oil yield is generally 90%, that is, 180 kg of soybean oil can be obtained by pressing 1 ton of soybean with the cold pressing process.
If the processing capacity more than 20TPD, it is more recommended to use solvent extraction process for soybean treatment under sufficient budget.By using the solvent extraction process, the oil yield is approximately 99%, and almost all the oils in soybeans can be obtained.
