Large scale sunflower oil production line consists of sunflower seeds pretreatment and pre-pressing plant, sunflower oil solvent extraction plant and sunflower oil refinery plant.

In the whole sunflower oil production line, sunflower seeds should be shelled, cleaned, cooked and pressed. If you want high oil yield, sunflower oil solvent extraction plant is necessary. Through sunflower oil solvent extraction plant, the oil residue will be less than 1%, and the meal will be more suitable for animal feed.

In the first paragraph, I said that sunflower seeds must be shelled. But here I will skip the introduction of sunflower seed shell removing equipment, which is a set of machines with complex technology. If you are interested in it, please search it by yourself.

In this sunflower oil production line, the raw material is sunflower seeds without shell. These two kinds of oil seeds pretreatment machine, magnetic drum and cleaning sieve,  are used to remove the impurities from sunflower seeds. And through husking machine, flaking machine and cooking machine, the sunflower seeds will be more easily pressed. So this section is more important in the whole sunflower oil production line.

In sunflower oil production line, sunflower oil extraction plant is the second section, in which there are four parts: solvent extraction system, D.T.D.C system, mixed oil evaporation system and condenser & recovery system. Usually use solvent oil to extract sunflower oil from sunflower seeds cake, and then uses steam to let solvent out of crude sunflower oil and sunflower meal, becoming solvent steam. At last, these solvent steam will be condensed and recycled to solvent oil tank. As I said in the first paragraph, through sunflower oil extraction plant, the oil residue will be less than 1%, and the meal will be more suitable for animal feed.

Sunflower oil refinery plant:

Crude sunflower oil -- Degumming&Dephosphorization -- Deacidification -- Drying -- Decolorization -- Deodorization -- Defatting -- Dewaxing -- Refined sunflower oil.

In sunflower oil production line, sunflower oil refinery plant is the last section. Except for the common refining process, degumming, deacidification, decolorization and deodorization, sunflower oil refinery plant need dewaxing machine because suflower oil contains heavy wax.  And sunflower oil refinery plant is also suitable rice bran oil and corn germ oil, which both need dewaxing.
