How profitable is waste tyre pyrolysis business in Nigeria?
Waste tyre is almost free in Nigeria, and, after pyrolysis, you can get about 45% pyrolysis fuel oil, 35% carbon black, 12% steel wire and 8% syn-gas among which syn-gas is for machine self-use and the other three are sold as commercial products. Take our 10TPD waste tyre pyrolysis plant for an example, from 10ton waste tyre, you can get 10tonx45%=4.5ton pyrolysis fuel oil, 10tonx35%=3.5ton tyre carbon black and 10tonx12%=1.2ton steel wire ,which can bring very handsome profit to you.

As we know, Nigeria has shortage of coal, the tyre pyrolysis oil with heating value more than 10000kcal/kg can well replace coal or other kinds of heating energy such as diesel, LPG and CNG,etc used for industrial heating.
Tyre pyrolysis oil can be sold about usd450/ton.Tyre carbon black can be further refined and used as coloring agent for rubber factory, painting factory and water pipe factory, etc. Besides, since after pyrolysis tyre carbon black still has high heating value, so it can be also processed into briquettes for heating purpose. The crude carbon black can be sold usd120/ton, and more than usd200 after further processing. Steel wire is sold as scrap steel to steel factory for recycling or used to make reinforcing rods for building. Its price is about usd120/ton.
