The pyrolysis process is a process in which waste materials (tyres, plastics, oil sludge, aluminum plastics, coal tar oil, etc) are broken into short hydrocarbon chains by high temperature heating. And its whole process can be divided into raw material feeding - heating and pyrolysis process - pyrolysis reactor cooling down - carbon black discharging - steel wire drawing(only tires).

However, based on different configurations, the time required for these waste pyrolysis processes will be different. But whatever the configuration, DOING pyrolysis plant's pyrolysis process is always completed within 24 hours. The specific analysis is as follows:
1. Raw material feeding time
■Adopt manual feeding method: workers can manually throw tires, plastic, aluminum and other waste into the reactor. This operation takes about 3-4 hours.
■Adopt automatic feeder: automatic feeder with 50 tons of hydraulic driving force, easy to compress tire, and plastic, to save feeding time and space. The whole process only takes about 1-2 hours.

2. Heating and pyrolysis process time
The heating time is dependent on the raw material.
■It takes 10-12 hours for tires;
■About 8-10 hours is needed for plastics. If your raw material has a high moisture content, it is best to air it in advance to reduce its moisture content to less than 10% to reduce heating time and cost.
3.Pyrolysis reactor cooling down time
■For the batch pyrolysis plant, after being pyrolyzed, the pyrolysis reactor needs to cool down. Normal pyrolysis reactor design will use around 7-8 hours. The reactor is equipped with 4 small ports for cooling the reactor. Our latest pyrolysis reactor design only takes 3-4 hours. It is to make some improvements on the basis of the original, and strengthen the cold air system of the reactor. So the working efficiency has improved a lot, and time has been shortened in half.
■While the fully continuous pyrolysis plant can continuously work for 24 hours without stopping for cooling.

4. Carbon black discharging time
DOING pyrolysis plant adopts side discharging design.
■Normal design with one discharging port, which takes around 2 to 4 hours.
■The latest design has two discharging ports. So when the reactor rotates for discharging, the working time can be cut in half, just around 1-2 hours.
5. Steel wire drawing time
Drawing the wire out of pyrolysis reactor can be done manually or by steel wire drawing machine. But if there is a local hoist, you can cooperate with the forklift to draw the steel wire, only 0.5-1 hours. That will be more economical.
